PRESCHOOL SERVICES
Preschool special education occupational therapy services. We are contracted with both Orange and Ulster County school districts, and are able to provide Committees on Preschool Special Education (CPSE) services to your child in the child’s home, daycare, or school.
ACADEMIC SUPPORT
Do you feel like the services your child receives in school are not doing enough to help your child? Private occupational therapy can supplement IEP services, and help your child if they do not qualify for school-based therapy.
IEP CONSULTATION & PARENT ADVOCACY
Have questions about your child’s existing IEP? Questions about New York State special education regulations? We will take an in-depth look at your child’s IEP and discuss the process based on your individual questions. We can also attend IEP meetings as a occupational therapist professional or as a parent advocate.
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY EVALUATIONS
We conduct both formal and informal assessments to help get to know your child, identify their strengths and challenges, and work with you to develop an individualized treatment plan.
EARLY INTERVENTION
Therapeutic intervention for children birth to three years old. Little Stars is contracted with both Orange and Ulster County Early Intervention.
PARENT COACHING
Parent education in order to best support your child’s needs by providing fun, engaging sessions and research-based, individualized treatment plans for you to carryover into everyday activities.
FEEDING THERAPY
By utilizing a combination of techniques such as gradual food exposure, sensory exploration, and positive reinforcement feeding therapy helps children develop the necessary skills and comfort to consume a variety of textures and consistencies safely.
